• Click on the "Preferences” tab at the bottom or go to "View" -> "Preferences".
• Expand "Inputs".
• Right-click the folder “Controls”.
• If you have the DriveBay, click “Add AscensionUsbTracker”. Note: If your Wand is not properly
connected, an error message will now appear.
• Return to the “Preferences” panel and click on the folder “Input”.
• Click “save state now”.
To use Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch with an Ascension sensor embedded in the stylus:
Download the appropriate driver for the Bamboo here.
Perform a basic installation.
Configure the pen and tablet using the "Bamboo Preferences" application found under Start Menu
>Bamboo.
The pen will behave like a Sandde Wand in the air, and like the familiar tablet pen while touching the
Bamboo surface.
To Install the Razer Hydra
Install the drivers for the Hydra that can be found here.
When the download is complete, run the Installer for the driver.
Follow the on screen instructions.
It is now recommended that you re-center the Wand. In the "Preferences" tab expand "Input", then
expand "Controls", then Click on "Hydra"
In the right hand window click on "Re-Center Wand..." and follow the on screen instructions.
Your "Hydra" is now ready to use with Sandde.
To Install the Camera Wand
• Install Microsoft LifeCam software:
• Insert the Microsoft LifeCam disk that is included with your web camera.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to install the camera drivers.
• Close the Microsoft LifeCam application.
• Install the plug-in for the Camera Wand:
• In Sandde go to Preferences, and expand "Inputs".
• Right-click on "Controls" and select "Add JIL Camera Wand".
• Note: If you do not see "Add JIL Camera Wand" listed, shut down Sandde, run "setup-
sandde-2-1.exe" and make sure "JIL Camera Wand" (found under "Plugins") is selected
(you do not have to reinstall the other components).
• Setting up the Camera Wand for drawing:
• When you expand “Controls” you will see “Wand” underneath. Click on Wand, and select
“Calibration Wizard”.
• This wizard will take you through steps to configure your “Wand” for tracking. If you have

Camera Wand Tips :
If you are using a Camera Wand from Janro Imaging, it is important that you are at least 1m away
from your webcam, but no further than 2 meters away. This is the Camera Wand’s “sweet spot”.
